Miller releases new homes in Bingham

28th March 2011 Print

A housetype never seen before in the East Midlands in under construction as part of the next phase at Miller Homes East Midlands’ Dukes Mead development in Bingham.

First opened in 2007, Dukes Mead – which has announced the release of 13 new properties at the development - is an ideal location that offers the opportunity to live close to a bustling town centre while being within easy commuter distance of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester.

Now, in response to growing demand, Miller Homes East Midlands has released the new one, two, three and four-bedroom homes, with prices starting from £119,950.

Amongst the housetypes released is the three-bedroom, Gissing-style townhouse - a brand new housetype for the East Midlands region - which features a light and airy dining room with archway leading through to the kitchen, large lounge and a detached single garage.

The master bedroom, situated on the second floor, features an en-suite shower room, whilst the first floor comprises two bedrooms, family bathroom and a study.

Paul Walters, senior sales manager at Miller Homes East Midlands, commented: “Dukes Mead has always been one of our most popular developments in the region and within a week of releasing the new properties one had already been reserved.

“We understand that every homebuyer is different and strive to offer potential homebuyers with a selection of properties available so they can find the perfect home to suit them, so it’s great to be able to offer the new Gissing-housetype at the development.”

The Gissing is just one of the selected properties at Dukes Mead available via the MiWay scheme – an affordable home-ownership scheme where buyers are offered a long-term equity loan from Miller Homes, allowing them to pay from just 75 per cent of the purchase price for a new property, with the remaining 25 per cent payable at a later date.

Paul added: “MiWay gives buyers the confidence of owning 100 per cent of their property from day one, but with just a limited number of properties available via MiWay at Dukes Mead, potential buyers will need to move quickly in order to secure what could well end up being a home for life.”
