In a recent survey by estate agents ‘Your Move’, it was discovered that 41% (of women surveyed) make the final buying decisions. Whether it be mum or the lady of the house, almost all of them make their mind up within just five minutes of walking into a prospective home, proving that first impressions really do count!
“This survey just confirms what we have seen as a buying trend for many years now,” commented Steve McElroy sales director Miller Homes Yorkshire. “When it comes to buying a family home mums always seem to have a much clearer idea of what they want and how their lifestyle will fit into the perfect family home.”
The survey also discovered 28% of women say that no one, not even their partner, will influence their decision whilst only 20% of men gave the same answer!
