Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is providing world class entertainment at the Commercial Vehicle show next month by giving visitors to its stand the opportunity to play darts with two of its latest Brand Ambassadors, international darts champions, James ‘The Machine’ Wade (jameswade.tv) and Mark ‘The Spider’ Webster (markwebster.tv).

Two ‘Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles 9 Dart Challenge’ competitions will take place each day across the loadspace of a Volkswagen Crafter dropside, with the dartboard positioned on the vehicle’s bulkhead and the player’s oche (toe line) by the tailgate.

The top two players of each morning and afternoon competition will then be paired up with Mark Webster and James Wade for an exhibition match and the chance to win a signed, Limited Edition Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle dartboard or darts set.

To recreate the atmosphere of a championship darts match, a professional darts referee will be on hand, and for the first two days of the show, Sky Sports’ John McDonald will be the official host and caller.

On the last day of the show, two other celebrity darts players will be attending and playing the winners of that day’s competitions.  They are Arron Monk, the 2011 Under 21 World Champion (arronmonk.tv) and Australian Paul ‘The Asset’ Nicholson (paulnicholson.tv).

‘I’m delighted to be taking part in the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles 9 Darts Challenge and am sure it will be one of the more unusual attractions at the CV show,’ said James Wade.

The Commercial Vehicle show runs from 12 to 14 April at the NEC, Birmingham. Full details and free tickets for the show are available from cvshow.com.

Other highlights of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles stand at the show will be the reveal of the new Amarok pick-up and the latest Caddy Racer.  For more information on the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles range, visit volkswagen-vans.co.uk.
