Quality homes, quality service at Burton Woods, Spennymoor

David Wilson Homes North East has brought together two award winners at its newly-launched Burton Woods development at Whitworth Park, Spennymoor.
Quality new homes and quality service are assured thanks to the pairing of site manager Michael Marram and sales adviser Karen Swallow.
Michael is the holder of a NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award, the most coveted in the housebuilding industry, for his excellent standards of workmanship and site organisation, while Karen has won company awards for her sales skills.
The pair have worked together previously and are looking forward to their new roles at Burton Woods, which is one of the first David Wilson developments in the region.
“Buying a home is probably the biggest purchase in most people’s lives and we will be working hard to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible for our buyers,” said Karen.
Burton Woods has been open for just a few weeks, yet has already recorded several sales from buyers keen to reserve off-plan before the showhomes are ready.
“The amount of interest the development is generating reflects its great location,” said Karen.
“People come along and they are amazed. There are panoramic views, country walks and a neighbouring “bio-park” with protected areas for wildlife and native plants.
“It’s lovely and quiet, but there are plenty of amenities close by and it’s only a few minutes from the A167 and the A1, which is a real bonus for commuters.
“We’re building a wide range of homes, from two to five bedrooms, and there’s nothing like them in the area.”
David Wilson is one of the country’s leading upmarket housebuilders and the homes at Burton Woods blend traditional exterior designs with spacious, free-flowing interior layouts, and top-quality specifications.
Three showhomes will be unveiled soon, but buyers can currently take advantage of pre-opening prices which range from £124,000 to £422,500.
Part exchange is available and there are shared equity schemes especially for first-time buyers.
Spennymoor offers a good selection of shops, community facilities and schools. The town is a short drive from Durham City and Bishop Auckland, and Darlington, Middlesbrough and Newcastle are all within commuting distance.
The Burton Woods sales centre is open from 10.00am to 5.00pm, Thursday to Monday.
