Rolls-Royce Goodwood Charity Run

The Rolls-Royce Motor Cars award-winning manufacturing plant and head office at Goodwood was host to 70 vintage and classic cars which gathered on Saturday 29 April and raised £1,000 for charity. Members of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club, Central Southern & Surrey Sections assembled a spectacular range of cars in the main courtyard from a 1924 Rolls-Royce 20hp Tourer to a 2002 Corniche Convertible. The line-up was completed by two new Phantoms, recently built at the manufacturing plant.

Proceeds from the event were donated to St Wilfrid’s Hospice, located in Chichester. A cheque for £1,000 was presented to the hospice by Central Southern Section Secretary, Ted Meachem who said; "Our members are delighted to visit the world headquarters of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The amazing architecture of the buildings makes a stunning backdrop to the classic and vintage cars on display here. It’s a pleasure to be able to support local charity St Wilfrid’s in their valuable work."
