Serviceman Matt Moullin has found his perfect place off-base at Taylor Wimpey’s Kings Reach development of property for sale in Kings Lynn.

When Air Force Technician Matt Moullin began looking for his own place away from camp at RAF Marham, he knew his new property in King’s Lynn would have to offer excellent value for money in a convenient location for work.

Following a fruitless search for second-hand properties to fit his criteria, the 22-year-old happened to pass Taylor Wimpey’s Kings Reach development of new homes in King’s Lynn – and was certainly glad he did!

Not only was Matt able to find his ideal two-bedroom starter home for an attractive price within easy commuting distance of his base, but he even received assistance with his deposit from the leading housebuilder to make stepping on to the Kings Lynn property ladder even more affordable.

“I was posted to RAF Marham and was looking to find a place of my own because I had had enough of living on camp,” says Matt, reflecting on his search for houses for sale in King’s Lynn.

“I started looking around estate agents in the area but none of the houses in Kings Lynn I looked at were quite right – and then, by coincidence, I came across the Kings Reach development and everything fell into place from there.”

The two-bedroom King’s Lynn property Matt chose at the development is perfect for his needs and Taylor Wimpey helped with his purchase by contributing 5% towards his deposit as part of the Gifted Deposit scheme.

“As a first-time buyer, the hardest part about buying my first home was getting a deposit together, so the money that Taylor Wimpey provided made a massive difference,” he says.

“I moved in just before Christmas and I’m really happy here. It’s a good-sized place and because I’ve got a second bedroom I have the option of getting a housemate if I need to in the future.

“The location of the development is great – it’s five minutes from the town centre and RAF Marham is just a 20-minute drive away. A friend of mine has even bought a place here after I mentioned to him that I was looking and now we share lifts to work every day.”

A wide selection of properties is currently available to purchase at Kings Reach to suit all home-hunters, from first-time buyers through to growing families.

Two-bedroom apartments are priced from as little as £79,045* under Easy Start shared equity, which lets qualifying first-time buyers own selected new homes for just 85% of the purchase price now, while two-bedroom houses are available from only £117,995. Alternatively, three-bedroom terraced properties are priced from just £132,995 at the development.

Taylor Wimpey offers a selection of incentives to make choosing a property at Kings Reach even more appealing, including the Take5 mortgage deal, in association with Saffron Building Society, which lets buyers secure selected two-bedroom properties with just a 5% deposit and 95% mortgage**.

Situated on the outskirts of King’s Lynn and close to a stunning Fenland landscape, Kings Reach offers homebuyers a tranquil location that is only minutes from a choice of shops, pubs, leisure facilities and places to eat.

For commuters, the A10 and A47 are both within a few minutes’ drive, while the cities of Peterborough and Norwich, as well as the beautiful north Norfolk coast, can all be easily reached by road.

The Kings Reach Sales Information Centre is located off Anthony Nolan Road, King’s Lynn, and open Mondays from 1.30pm to 5pm and Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
