Taylor Wimpey offers a stress-free move in Cannock

Stuart and Simone Vallance took the hassle out of buying a new property in Cannock with a part-exchange move to Broadhurst Gardens
Homebuying couple Stuart and Simone Vallance took advantage of Taylor Wimpey’s stress-free Part Exchange scheme to secure their Cannock property, at the leading housebuilder’s Broadhurst Gardens development of new homes for sale in Huntington village.
“It’s been so relaxing, it feels quite surreal,” says Simone. “Part Exchange takes all the stress of moving to a new home away. We have a guaranteed buyer in Taylor Wimpey, and there’s no property chain to worry about.”
As Part Exchange customers, the Vallances have received the market value of their old property in Rugeley, based on the average of independent professional valuations, with the agreed sum deducted from the price of their brand new property in Huntington.
Simone adds: “All we have had to do is continue to conduct viewings at our current house, and that’s it. We’ve had comments from people on viewings that we seem so relaxed about the whole thing, and we’ve told them it’s all down to the fact we have a guaranteed buyer in Taylor Wimpey.”
Simone and Stuart will be moving into their brand new four-bedroom detached ‘Huntington’ house in the summer, after reserving it off-plan following a speculative visit to Broadhurst Gardens.
“We live in a property in Rugeley, but as I work in Huntington I knew the development was being built,” says Simone. “We went to the launch evening in September just to be nosey – we weren’t intending to buy.
“But, after seeing the showhome and realising how much space you get for your money we found Broadhurst Gardens just ticked all the boxes for us.
“We even took my mum for a look around the showhome and now she is seriously considering moving to a new Taylor Wimpey home in Huntington too!”
Simone adds: “We’ve never lived in a new-build house before, and so one of the huge attractions for us is the fact we are buying a home that we can put our own mark on, rather than putting up with whatever the previous owners had done to it.”
Broadhurst Gardens’ location is a major draw for Simone, 37, an assistant laboratory manager at Sercal in Huntington, and Stuart, 38, a trained paramedic and clinical development officer in Baggeridge, near Wolverhampton.
“It’s a 10-minute walk to work for me, and Stuart’s commute is a straightforward drive because the road links are good,” says Simone.
“But what we love most about Broadhurst Gardens is the fact it is on the edge of Cannock Chase. Home is now within five minutes of riding our bikes through some amazing countryside.”
The ‘Huntington’ is available to reserve now at Broadhurst Gardens from as little as £194,995, while an alternative four-bedroom design, the detached ‘Draycott’, is priced from only £201,995.
