18th April 2011 Print

With so many bank holidays plus the two week school holiday coming up, parents across Norfolk will be forgiven for wondering what to do to keep the children entertained. Thanks to local homebuilder Persimmon Homes Anglia, help is at hand as the developer is hosting a family fun day at the company’s Sancroft Square in Harleston.

“The event, which runs from 10.30am to 5.30pm over the Easter weekend, sees the opening of our stunning four bedroom Cranborne showhome at Sancroft Square, which has been designed to appeal to the whole family,” states Jon Gibbs, sales director for Persimmon Homes Anglia.

Features of the new showhome include a parent’s haven in the master suite, plus one of the children’s bedrooms incorporates a fantasy Harry Potter mural to inspire budding young witches and wizards.

Outdoors, to celebrate the launch of Persimmon’s annual Grow Your Own competition the company has paid specific attention to creating a fully working vegetable patch, complete with potting shed, which will be used as an educational tool for visiting schools and is hoped will inspire Persimmon’s own purchasers to get digging in their own back gardens.

Jon continues: “There’s a lot to explore in our new showhome – both inside and out. At our Easter event we’re hosting an Easter egg themed colouring competition for children of all ages, plus all children who attend the weekend will receive a free chocolate egg.

“In addition, to keep the adults entertained, those who visit our showhome over the Easter weekend will be eligible for our DAB digital radio prize draw.”

Sancroft Square hosts a wide variety of beautiful new properties including a selection of three and four bedroom designs, which are appealing to first time buyers, couples, executives, families and those looking to downsize without compromising on character or space. Prices currently start from £160,500.

Sancroft Square is ideally situated for residents to walk or drive to the town centre of Harleston. The market town has a range of local amenities and healthcare facilities as well as a range of restaurants and cafes. In addition the site is located just a few minutes from the A143.

Combining rural living in the quiet market town of Harleston, Norfolk, with the excellent links to the hustle and bustle found in both Norwich and London, Persimmon Homes Anglia’s Sancroft Square could be the answer to your prayers. The development is a short drive to Diss’ railway station, which means Norwich is little over 20 minutes and London is just 90 minutes away.
