Energy efficient luxury homes for sale in Tollerton

Developer Chebsey Estates Ltd has just released the first two energy-efficient luxury homes on its exclusive Oak Tree Court development in Tollerton, just outside Nottingham.
The two individually-designed five-bedroom homes overlooking open countryside are the first of seven being built off Lothian Road. And they have been built to exacting energy efficient standards to ensure low running costs.
All Oak Tree Court homes are insulated to a high standard, with high performance windows and doors and advanced heating and hot water systems using renewable energy heat pumps. They have state of the art ventilation systems, low energy lighting installations and reduced water consumption.
“Our houses really are at the forefront of sustainability design and technology,’ said Roy Pickavance, managing director of Chebsey Estates Ltd, the company behind this ground-breaking scheme.
The houses have have been built to Level 3 of the national Code for Sustainable Homes standard. Most new homes today are built to Level 1. Chebsey recognises that with energy prices forecast to increase into the foreseeable future, it makes ethical and financial sense to deliver the most economic forms of heating that will save both energy and money.
The two properties just released – The Willows and Larch House - have five bedrooms, two of which are ensuite plus a family bathroom. Downstairs there is a living room, study/dining room, kitchen/breakfast/family room, utility room, cloakroom and double garage. There is a choice of kitchen and bathroom finishes. Prices range from £560,000 to £625,000.
Oak Tree Court is situated right on the edge of Tollerton surrounded by green belt open farmland and woodland on three sides.
