Taylor Wimpey supports royal street party in Surrey

Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey is sponsoring the royal wedding celebrations near its Hinchley Park development of property for sale in Hinchley Wood.
Taylor Wimpey, the housebuilder behind the prestigious Hinchley Park development of new homes in Hinchley Wood, Surrey, is providing a feast fit for a future king at a royal wedding party in the local community.
The leading developer is sponsoring the Hinchley Wood Neighbourhood Party, which takes place close to its exclusive collection of apartments and houses for sale in Hinchley Wood on Friday 29th April to celebrate the wedding of HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Hinchley Wood church is to be the focal point of the celebrations, with St Christopher’s opening its doors to the local neighbourhood in a fun-filled, day-long bunting-packed bonanza of activities designed to appeal to all the family.
Taylor Wimpey, which is currently experiencing huge interest in its Hinchley Park development of Hinchley Wood property, has donated £250 to the community event to pay for barbecue food for hungry party-goers.
Organiser Antonia Wilson says: “The donation is very welcome indeed, because it covers one of the major costs of putting on the party.
“It means we have been able to keep the entry cost to just £1 for adults and children can come along for free, which is something we’re very pleased about.
“We are now looking forward to a fantastic day-long celebration, and hope as many people as possible will attend, to make it a day to remember.”
The party takes place in St Christopher’s Church and church hall in Claygate Lane, with big screens in both venues beaming in live coverage of the wedding.
Vicar of St Christopher’s, John Kronenberg says: “There is a real enthusiasm in the community to make this a day to remember. The church and hall are a natural focal point for our community to come together and celebrate this memorable event.”
The fun starts at 9.30am, when bacon butties will be served for breakfast, while barbecue food, sandwiches and cakes will be available during the afternoon, along with drinks from the bar.
Attractions include face painting, a bouncy castle, flag-making, traditional stalls, a bottle tombola, a wedding dress exhibition, fancy dress and cake competitions and a red, white and blue raffle.
Tickets can be bought in advance from the church office, open between 9am and 12.30pm from Monday to Friday, or on the door.
With Prince William and Kate rumoured to be heading off to live in North Wales after they’ve wed, Taylor Wimpey’s new homes at Hinchley Park offer plenty of right-royal touches too - at prices that don’t cost a king’s ransom.
The stylish portfolio of brand new one and two-bedroom apartments start from just £239,995. Three-bedroom houses, meanwhile, are priced from £429,995 and four-bedroom homes from £474,995.
Hinchley Park Sales and Marketing Suite is located in Hengest Avenue, off Poplar Road, Hinchley Wood, and open daily from 10.30am and 5.30pm.
