One of the most significant factors when buying a home is that the move is fast and as stress-free as possible, according to Newhomes.co.uk.

New build houses and apartments are apparently most attractive to buyers as these properties are likely to be contemporary, fully-fitted, in convenient locations and most importantly, ready to move into immediately.

Joe Doran, 38, is a first time buyer who has just bought a brand new, one-bedroom apartment at Higgins Homes’ successful development, Prime at Hither Green. Joe, a civil servant, chose his apartment at Prime as it was ready to move into immediately, close to central London and fantastic value for money.

Joe comments: “I relocated back to the UK last year, after ten years living abroad. I happened to drive past the Prime development one day and I immediately fell in love with the sophisticated, high specification apartments there.

“I wanted something stylish but also a move that was hassle-free and I knew that a second-hand home was not an option. The apartment was ready to move into straight away and it included a fabulous fully integrated kitchen and flooring. I really couldn’t have asked for more.”

Prime is a contemporary oasis in a secluded cul-de-sac, surrounded by beautiful green shrubs and trees. The apartment buildings are elegant with red and buff brickwork and gable-roofing detail. Inside, the studio and one-bedroom apartments are light and clean with fantastic specifications.

Each apartment in the development is fitted with a stylish kitchen designed by Symphony, which incorporates a stainless steel oven and hob, an integrated fridge/freezer as well as a washer/dryer. Bathrooms are equally sophisticated with white sanitary ware from Ideal Standard complemented by chrome fittings. Also included in the price is an allocated parking space and access to communal bike storage.

Jeremy Marcus, Sales and Marketing Director, Higgins Homes, comments: “Busy house buyers do not want to spend the time completing a long, drawn out move if they can possibly help it. Higgins Homes recognises this and we do all we can to ensure buying a home is as simple a process as possible. The extras such as flooring that we include with most Higgins Homes’ properties make developments like Prime at Hither Green ready to live in.”

Hither Green is one of the most affordable, yet attractive, tree-lined areas close to central London, characterised by its elegant mix of Victorian and Edwardian architecture. The Prime development is located a few minutes walk from an eclectic mix of local shops, while a variety of high street stores can be found in nearby Lewisham. Hither Green station and provides frequent train services to London Bridge in 13 minutes, making the journey to and from central London quick and easy.

Apartments at Prime start from just £109,950 for a studio apartment with separate bedroom area and kitchen and £139,950 for one bedroom apartments. For further information, visit: higginshomes.co.uk
