Homebuyers find their ideal property in Norfolk

Delia and Nick Bridgeman discovered the perfect place to settle down at Taylor Wimpey’s Blenheim Grange development of property for sale in Norfolk.
When Delia Bridgeman and husband, Nick, moved back to England after nearly six years living in rural France, they wanted their new home to enjoy a similarly serene location.
Fortunately they found just the place at Blenheim Grange on the outskirts of Carbrooke village, where Taylor Wimpey is creating a beautiful neighbourhood of new homes in Norfolk surrounded by stunning countryside.
Delia and Nick discovered the collection of houses for sale in Norfolk at Blenheim Grange by visiting taylorwimpey.co.uk, and visited the development, which is near to Watton, last year.
“The first plot we considered was a two-bedroom house, but then, when we were shown the plot for the three-bedroom ‘Kirkstone’ we knew it would suit us perfectly,” explains Delia, recalling the moment she and her husband spotted their perfect Norfolk property at Blenheim Grange.
“And although it was a little more money, Taylor Wimpey put together a great deal for us and included free carpets in the price!”
Having purchased their property off-plan, the Bridgemans are thrilled with the home they have now moved into, which they say has lived up to their expectations completely.
“Because we were excited about moving in, it was hard having to wait while the house was built, but we would come and have a look every other weekend to see how our new place was progressing,” adds Delia.
Because they chose their new home off-plan, Delia and Nick could select finishing touches from Taylor Wimpey’s Options range, which includes carpets, flooring, kitchen units, worktops, tiling and lighting. And although for Delia, making these choices was the only nerve-racking part of their move, this was more than made up for by the excitement of walking into the house for the first time and seeing that everything was expertly fitted to their own specifications.
“Everyone working at the development couldn’t have been more helpful, and the Sales Executive has been just brilliant and is now like a member of our extended family,” says Delia.
“We were particularly impressed with the way in which Taylor Wimpey kept us informed of everything that was happening throughout the purchasing process.”
House-hunters can currently select from a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes available at Blenheim Grange, priced from only £116,995.
The stylish four-bedroom ‘Malbury’, for example, boasts a spacious kitchen with utility room, two reception rooms, a study and a guest cloakroom off the central entrance hallway.
Upstairs, the well-proportioned bedrooms and main bathroom can be found off the landing, while the master bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room. The property has a single garage and private garden.
All new homes at Blenheim Grange are completed to a high standard specification, including central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.
Blenheim Grange enjoys a peaceful woodland location between the quiet village of Carbrooke and the attractive market town of Watton, which offers shops catering for everyday needs and a choice of nursery and primary schools.
For a wider choice of shopping and leisure, Thetford is only 15 miles from the development and the city of Norwich is less than 25 miles away by road.
Further information on the new homes is available by visiting Blenheim Grange Sales Centre and showhome, located off Norwich Road, between Watton and Carbrooke, and open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm and Mondays from 1.30pm to 5pm.
