Successful science at Touchwood

Thinktank, the popular Birmingham science museum, recently challenged Solihull kids to put their science skills to the test during free interactive demonstrations at Touchwood.

Those who came along were entertained by ‘science busking’ sessions which included interactive demonstrations of magnetism, visual illusions and gyroscopes. Children were also given the chance to explore Thinktank’s Sensational Sea Life Safari handling collection featuring sharks’ jaws, starfish, shells and crabs.

Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, comments: “Thinktank’s activities offered a fantastic way to introduce local children to science whilst having a bit of fun. We’re pleased to say that they proved very popular with our younger guests and everyone who came along had a great time.”

Touchwood houses some of the best UK and international brands, designer retailers and independent boutique style stores. Guests can also enjoy late night shopping until 8pm on Thursday evenings, with free parking for those who arrive after 6pm.
