Santander launches ‘recommend a friend' offer

Santander has launched a ‘recommend a friend' offer which rewards existing Santander current account customers with £25 if they recommend a friend to switch to a Santander Preferred, Zero, Reward or Premium current account.

And every friend who does switch using Santander's hassle-free switching service will receive a £100 cash gift from Santander.

The offer is available online only at santander-refer.co.uk/reward where existing Santander current account customers can simply provide the names and email addresses of any friends they wish to recommend.

As a thank you existing customers will receive £25 when their friend has switched to Santander through the online recommend a friend referral process.

Using Santander's switching service customers can

Have all their existing standing orders, bill payments and direct debits transferred from their old bank to the new Santander current account
Expect to match their existing overdraft (up to £5,000, depending on the customer's circumstances).
