The new TravelMate 7750 and 4750 series takes advantage of the second generation Intel Core processor family with mobile Intel HM65 Express Chipset ensuring smart performance that adapts to users’ needs, giving a significantly faster performance to speed through demanding tasks and boost productivity, while saving energy. In addition, these processors provide built-in capabilities for enhanced multimedia creation and enjoyment.

Business activities are increasingly reliant on graphics and multimedia. As a result, Acer engineered the new TravelMate models to deliver a superb visual performance for sharper images, richer colour and life-like images, enabling high-definition video and audio playback. These notebooks are available with either integrated HD graphics or discreet graphics processor solutions for optimized and dramatically improved multimedia processing and visual application acceleration.
 
Stunning presentations, with seamless video quality, accelerated web browsing and communication with unprecedented detail will help users increase productivity and deliver clearer and more captivating messages. What’s more, thanks to Intel Wireless Display technology, these notebooks can share presentations or videos on HD displays or TVs via an easy to set up wireless connection. Protecting users’ assets is one of Acer main goals when developing a new professional notebook. This is why the TravelMate 7750 and 4750 feature robust security solutions. Pre-boot Authentication with BIOS/HDD password protects the notebook from unwanted access. Locking the BIOS with a password can prevent the system to even booting up, while HDD password offers additional security in case the hard disk is removed from the computer.
 
In addition, these notebook come with Intel Anti-Theft technology and Absolute Data Protection (ADP) by Absolute Software. With built-in Anti-Theft technology, if the notebook is lost or stolen you can remotely lock it. During lock down the notebook is inoperable and access to encrypted data is disabled. Once the computer is recovered, it can be easily unlocked. ADP is an anti-theft software that allows users to track their PC if it's lost or stolen.

Another layer of security is offered by Acer Backup/eRecovery Manager to backup your valuable data and media library and protect your assets. Recovery is on demand thanks to Acer eRecovery Manager. Wake-on-LAN allowing a computer to be turned on by a network message, provides remote management options.
 
Available in two formats, 44 cm (17.3 inch) for the 7750 and 35.6 cm (14.0 inch) for the 4750, the new TravelMate laptops come with a high-brightness LED backlit panel and a 16:9 aspect ratio.

The DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive and integrated multi-in-1 card reader supporting the most used formats simplify data sharing and provide more storage options. These notebooks can also count on up to 8 GB of advanced DDR3 memory that dramatically increases data bandwidths allowing faster multitasking and lowers power consumption.

Reliable companions for everyday tasks, these notebooks are equipped with a full range of connectivity options: Gigabit Ethernet for ultra-fast wired connection, WiFi network connection supporting Acer SignalUp with Nplify wireless technology, and Bluetooth 3.0 (depending on configuration).
