La Manga Club’s 'Love Life Summer'
The five-star La Manga Club resort in Spain is bracing itself for a surge in summer bookings after announcing details of its ‘Love Life Summer’ programme, designed to offer a host of fun, activity, well-being and diversity for the whole family.
Guests staying at La Manga Club from May half-term until the end of August will be able to experience all manner of life-enriching activities, set against the backdrop of Europe’s most expansive sports and lifestyle resort.
World number-one golfer Lee Westwood’s junior academy will be operating during the first two weeks of August and other new activities for youngsters include a May half-term Father & Son golf event on May 31; an AC Milan Football Camp with the club’s top coaches from July 10-16; and the UNICEF Mini Masters games on August 6, which comprises a variety of sporting events and a family fun day and BBQ, to raise funds for the charity.
In addition the resort provides junior golf, tennis, cricket, football and dance academies during all school holiday periods, and the increasingly popular Funlandia family programme will once more operate this summer.
Funlandia provides a range of children’s and family activities, most of which are free for guests, including movie nights, egg races, treasure hunts, crazy golf, karaoke and disco sessions.
For adults, several new ‘Love Life’ activities have been created and designed to aid well-being. These include new retreats for cycling and triathlon available throughout the summer, while a new ‘Life Supercharge’ retreat, designed to revitalise, motivate and assist weight-loss and will be run by former TV Gladiator Kate Staples from June 23-26.
La Manga Club is also keen to showcase its Spanish culture to guests of all ages and this summer will be providing them with the opportunity to learn or improve their Spanish language skills, and for dance fans there are some dedicated packages to the famous El Cante de las Minas flamenco festival in nearby La Unión.
