Rolls-Royce opens new showroom in Malaysia

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced the official opening of its latest showroom in Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The new facility was unveiled by Paul Harris, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Asia Pacific Regional Director, Brenda Pek, General Manager South & East Asia Pacific and Dato’ Michael Ong, Managing Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur. The dealership is owned by Quill Motorcars.
 
On the official opening of the showroom, the first in Malaysia, Paul Harris said: “We continue to invest in a Malaysian market buoyed by the country’s economic growth and growing appetite for super-luxury cars. Our presence signals our commitment to providing service support for current and future customers, many of whom are new to the brand.”
 
Dato’ Michael Ong, added: “Today marks a milestone as Quill Motorcars embarks on its quest to build the Rolls-Royce business in Malaysia. From our Phantom and Ghost demonstrators to our ability to support customers in creating highly bespoke cars, Quill Motorcars is ready to ensure that Rolls-Royce customers have nothing less than a highly positive ownership experience. Our authorised workshop, which is fully supported by the Rolls-Royce factory, is also equipped with the latest technology to service Rolls-Royce cars.”
 
The new 224 square metre showroom accommodates three Rolls-Royce motor cars, with a lounge that allows customers to configure their car using colour, wood and leather samples from the manufacturing plant at Goodwood, West Sussex.
 
Strategically positioned in a prestigious area within easy access of Kuala Lumpur’s main thoroughfares, the new showroom is housed in the distinctive Quill 9 building, the headquarters of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars authorised dealership partner, Quill Motorcars, Sdn Bhd.
 
The number of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars showrooms in the Asia Pacific region is currently 18.
