Wirral site manager proud to promote homes he builds

The man leading the team behind new homes in Bromborough has been chosen from hundreds of employees to become one of the faces of Redrow’s ‘Our Pride ~ Your Joy’ national advertising campaign.
Award winning site manager Tony Gordon is among those fronting the housebuilder’s campaign, which uses real staff members instead of actors in TV, internet, magazine, newspaper and billboard promotions. Customers who have bought Redrow homes also feature.
Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “Our employees and trades people are proud to provide quality homes to our customers so who better than them to be the face of our campaign.
“We want our customers to get to know the people who build and sell them their homes and this could be the first point of contact, so that process starts here.
“It’s quite a brave step to put your face to a national campaign so we’re grateful to Tony for being such a good sport.”
Tony, who lives in Irlam, is the site manager at Dibbin Brook in Bromborough. He’s previously been in the limelight for winning an NHBC Pride in the Job quality award last year, placing him in the top 400 site managers UK-wide.
“I’ve worked for Redrow for 14 years and I’m really proud of the homes we are building now, it’s a great product so I was delighted to be asked to be in the campaign. When the ad was first published in the local paper one of the lads cut my picture out of the paper and stuck it on my chair but it was all in good humour,” Tony explained
“Lots of people have come to site and said they have seen me in the newspapers. It makes them realise that I am actually the site manager who is building the house they want to buy and it’s not make believe but real. Everyone working on site loves the houses we are building and, because we believe in what we do, we want to share that with people.”
Tony and his team are building homes from Redrow’s sought-after New Heritage Collection; traditional looking homes with Arts & Crafts inspired exteriors and high specification, family friendly interiors.
