Skoda continues its success in the What Car? J. D. Power Survey of Customer Satisfaction

3rd June 2006 Print
Skoda continues to excel in providing its owners with excellent customer service, as it is ranked third overall in the 2006 What Car? J. D. Power Survey of Customer Satisfaction. Ranked in the Top Five for the 11th consecutive year, Skoda is the highest-ranked European brand in the survey.

With a total score of 842, Skoda is ranked much higher than the average of European manufacturers. By model, the Skoda Fabia is ranked third among superminis while the mid-sized Octavia is ranked second among lower medium models. Skoda’s third model line, the upper medium Superb, is not included in the survey as the sample size was too small.

Skoda was rated first among manufacturers in the Ownership Costs portion of the survey, which was completed by over 89,000 UK car owners. In the other areas of the survey, Skoda ranked sixth in Service Satisfaction, fifth in Quality and Reliability, and seventh in Vehicle Appeal.

Skoda UK Director Chris Craft commented, “We’re very pleased that our customers continue to be satisfied with their cars, the great value that they receive when they buy a Skoda and the service they receive when they need it. The J. D. Power Survey, along with other customer satisfaction surveys, tells the story about the most important part of our work – the great relationships that our retailers deliver to Skoda customers.”
