Skoda solves Vista Retail Support fleet
A large boot capacity and value for money are just two of the reasons Vista Retail Support has chosen Skoda to supply 49 Octavia Estates to its 120 strong fleet.Cardiff-based Vista Retail Support, an independent IT company specialising in services towards the retail sector, compared many different models when replacing its fleet of Vauxhall Zafiras, but decided that nothing could beat the Octavia 1.9 TDI Estate in terms of quality and cost.
Emmanuel Lewis, Fleet Manager for Vista Retail Support, comments: “We’re thrilled with the new cars as they are well-equipped and do the job perfectly. Our engineers are all based from home and have to do a considerable amount of travelling – often with large pieces of stock such as monitors and cash drawers - so the cars had to have plenty of boot space and be reliable as well as represent good value for money.
“The feedback we’ve received from our engineers has been fantastic; they absolutely love the Octavias!”
Martin Burke, Head of Skoda Business Sales, added: “The Octavia Estate is an ideal fleet car for companies transporting large amounts of equipment and stock but who don’t want vans. The Octavia’s main benefit is its flexibility. With a maximum capacity of 1,620 litres – similar to that of small vans – it can help companies maintain a professional image when using the car to transport goods while also doubling up as an executive car for visits to clients or customers.
“Businesses sometimes need to be capable of carrying large goods in their company vehicles, but if they aren’t a trade company, vans aren’t an option. The capacity of the Octavia means that firms can now have a stylish yet practical fleet solution.”
