‘Drive time’ now means something different for national radio celebrity Scott Mills as he’s recently taken delivery of a super-sporty new SEAT Leon Cupra R.
The popular radio and TV personality is thrilled to get behind the wheel of SEAT’s most potent production model to date – the scorching 155 mph, 265 PS 2.0-litre turbocharged Leon Cupra R.
Scott said: ‘I think it’s really good looking. It’s sleek and sporty and the wheels really look fantastic.
‘It has become a bit of a thing with all my mates. They want to go in my car all the time which means I have to drive everywhere!’
He added: ‘I’ve owned quite a few big and powerful cars but the Leon is right up there with any of them. It’s fantastic fun to drive and I just love it.
‘The sound system is amazing and I’ve set up my iPhone so I can stream in music and listen to radio stations from the States, and the quality’s brilliant.’
SEAT’s most powerful roadgoing car to date, launched here last year, is making a similarly big impression on less high profile SEAT fans, too. Currently, would-be Cupra R owners face three months of tingling anticipation after placing their order as they wait to join a select band of UK owners.
