Are you excited about the imminent release of the final movie in the Harry Potter franchise? With the final instalment of the Harry Potter story about to be released in cinemas, children of all ages will want to experience the magic for themselves.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter may be in America, but England has its very own magical and unique attraction, The Creaky Cauldron – Where Magic Begins in Stratford-upon-Avon. To celebrate the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2, The Creaky Cauldron is offering free entry to the Museum of Wizardology for anyone dressed as a character from the Harry Potter movies during “Deathly Hallows Week” from 9 – 17 July!

The Creaky Cauldron is a quirky three storey building dating back to the mid 1500’s and is home not only to the original Magic Alley (the world's oldest makers and purveyors of magical wares) and the Golden Broomstick Tearoom, but also the award winning Museum of Wizardology and Victorian Imagiscarium.

When you wander into this historic building and step across the original 16th century flagstones into Magic Alley, you enter another world that is often described as “walking onto a Harry Potter film set”. The Magic Alley sells everything from Fizzing Whizzbangs and hand decorated Chocolate Frogs from Auntie Emm’s Wizarding Confection Collection to Curios and Japes from Jedediah Bombay’s Wizarding Wheezes. There is also the world’s largest range of magic spells from the Magic SpellBox Company, Dr Bombay’s world famous Wand Emporium which sells a huge range of traditional handmade magic wands and you can even write letters using parchment and quills before sending them anywhere in the world by his Owl Postal Service.

Upstairs, across two floors accessed by creaky, winding and darkly lit staircases is the award winning Museum of Wizardology - a warren of rooms, home not only to Magic School but also the Enchanted Manor. In Magic School you can learn how to fly a broomstick, visit with the world’s only time travelling wizard and his time travelling machine, the MaTiLDA, and stare into the mystic dimensions of the Mirror of Eris Edse Voleurt. Then onto the Enchanted Manor, with tales of swashbuckling heroines and eerie corridors leading to spooky rooms that contain a fascinating glimpse into the private lives of one of the country's most eccentric magical family’s. There is also a special Deathly Hallows Trail through the museum where visitors can undertake their own quest for the Deathly Hallows by following clues posted throughout the exhibits.

At the rear of the building you’ll find the Golden Broomstick tearoom serving a wide range of unusual teas and Dr Bombay’s original recipe ButterBeer, brewed to a secret recipe since the Victorian age. You can even enjoy the classic summer drink of Iced Gingerbread Punch or a Pumpkin Spiced Latte.

As dusk falls, The Museum of Wizardology undergoes a sinister change and is no place for the faint hearted as it becomes the Victorian Imagiscarium. This summer, as part of the Theatre Of Fear, adults can face their fears at a range of terrifying events……

Dave Matthews, CEO of Seek the Magic Org is an expert in all things Harry Potter and is happy to spend hours talking to children of all ages about the films and the books. He says "Our two attractions are a truly unique experience offering something for everyone from magical family fun by day to terrifying events at night. Whether you leave the building ashen faced or with a wide grin on your face, you’ll certainly want to visit time and time again and there’s no need to travel all the way to America to seek the magic for yourselves! So, step inside and find out where magic really does begin...........”
