Signal 1 Perry collects Signal 1 and 2's summer street team vehicle

Perry Spiller from Signal1 Radios breakfast show Perry and Louise dropped into IMPERIAL Commercials Volkswagen Van Centre Stoke today to pick up the new Signal1 and Signal 2 All Stars vehicle for the summer. The Volkswagen Transporter Kombi SWB T30. 2.0 tdi 140ps was kindly donated by IMPERIAL Commercials Volkswagen Van Centre Stoke to assist Signal Radio and their outdoor events team throughout the summer. Signal are looking to tell people to come and see them, spot the vehicle on the road and make a point of talking to them about it.

Simon Jackson Sales Manager at IMPERIAL Volkswagen Van Centre Stoke said “The vehicle is ideal for the Signal All Stars street team as it has 3 quick release seats at the back of the vehicle in a 2 + 1 combination allowing the flexibility to move the seats out to allow for more load carrying space if needed. It can seat up to 5 people and still has lots of capacity at the back of the van for any kit that Signal need to carry around. With the seats removed the vehicle has 2353mm load length and a load width of 1692mm”

The vehicle also has air con, electric windows, heated mirrors, 6 speed gearbox, CD player, appearance pack including colour co-ordinated bumpers, tailgate and single side loading door.

Jessica Smith Group Marketing Executive said “IMPERIAL Graphics at Halesowen our own sign and graphic company liveried the vehicle, so it really was a team effort and goes to show that we are a one stop shop for all your commercial vehicle needs. The first event the Signal All Stars team will be out and about at is Signal 1 Live at Hanley Park on the 16th July, it will also be at the Staffordshire Bike Show on the 24th July at Britannia Stadium featuring special guest James Toseland, two times World Superbike Champion. The vehicle will also be on our stand at the Nantwich and Cheshire show on the 27th July.”
