Skoda website scoops prestigious IMA award Skoda’s new-look website is already winning awards thanks to its eye-catching design by digital communications agency, Reading Room, after scooping the Outstanding Achievement for Excellence honour from the Interactive Media Awards (IMA).

Judges felt that the new website fully embodied Skoda’s aim of being the ‘manufacturer of happy drivers’ and was the ideal place for potential purchasers to visit. Easy to navigate with a host of tools such as flip charts, which provide extra information, the site is bright and fun.

Carla Bacchio, Direct Communications Manager at Skoda, comments: “We’re thrilled that our website has won such an accolade. It’s a lot more interactive and has been brought right up to date by taking into account today’s car buyer and their habits.

“Reading Room paid close attention to our brief and came up with the perfect solution and since it launched back in December the site has had well over two million page views.”

This award acknowledges design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content. The Skoda website therefore met high standards in each of these categories in order to have earned such an award.

The Interactive Media Awards recognise the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honour individuals and organisations for their outstanding achievement. Created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a non-profit organisation of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals, the competition is designed to elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet and offer winners a boost in marketing and exposure.
