It's well documented that living close to nature can have a positive effect on people’s health and well-being.

Many of us dream of living somewhere we can enjoy the great outdoors close to home and residents of Dibbin Brook can do just that as an existing woodland has been retained and enhanced as part of the development.

Tucked away off the A41, with opportunities for woodland walks and nature trails, Dibbin Brook may seem a world away from the hustle and bustle of 21st century living; yet the homes enjoy easy access to Liverpool, Chester and Manchester with a wealth of local amenities nearby.

There’s more good news for homebuyers at Dibbin Brook in the shape of a recent Government sponsored report.

Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW) commented: “The UK National Ecosystem Assessment looked into nature’s value to society and concluded that the health benefits of living near natural wildlife and green spaces are worth up to £300 per person per year.

“Residents of Dibbin Brook can enjoy the great outdoors right on their doorstep, where they have the opportunity to enjoy the charms of the woodlands and the nearby Dibbinsdale Local Nature Reserve.”

As well as maintaining the existing woodland, Redrow has also planted new trees around the development, including two types in the main entrance square – the Italian acer campestre, also known as ‘Streetwise’, and the Dutch carpimus betulus.

Inspired by the architecture of the Arts and Crafts era, the homes at Dibbin Brook boast traditional looking exteriors, but inside are styled for 21st century living, with family friendly open-plan layouts, the latest kitchens and bathrooms and high quality fixtures and fittings.

“Our customers won’t have to worry about finding the extra cash for repairs and renovations that an older property is likely to need. Instead they can enjoy the fun of choosing the finish of their kitchen units, the bathroom tiles and even the light switches to create a home that’s as individual as they are. Well insulated with double glazing and central heating as standard, our new homes are also up to 40% more energy efficient than their second hand counterparts,” added Elaine.

Current availability includes a choice of three and four-bedroom homes, with prices from £211,000.

A number of properties are now ‘build complete’, offering the perfect solution for those who want a quick move. And with the offer of part-exchange those with a home of their own to sell could find they are able to move sooner than they expected.

“Part-exchange is the smart way to move up the property ladder – we buy your old home so that you can buy one of ours,” Elaine explained.

“There’s no need to worry about getting caught up in a complicated chain and we will even pay the estate agent’s fees at the end of the day.”

To experience what life could be like at Dibbin Brook, visit the show homes, open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
