Failte from £66 a night with Irish Ferries’ B&B offer

13th July 2011 Print

Irish Ferries Holidays’ new summer deal promotes the warmest of Irish welcomes at 1,400 individual B&Bs for just £66 per person per night – including ferry travel.

A new self-drive package is on offer throughout July and August, with a three-night break costing only £199 per person, saving £53 per person on normal high-season rates.

The break includes return cruise-ferry travel from Holyhead to Dublin on the luxurious Ulysses, or Pembroke to Rosslare on the Isle of Inishmore for a car and two adults, with double/twin room accommodation at tourist-board rated B&Bs the length and breadth of Ireland, plus ‘the full Irish’ breakfast each morning.

Kids under 10 years sharing their parents’ room stay free – including breakfast – and travel free too.

Extra nights can be added to the basic three-night break for just £38 per person per night, and though Irish Ferries recommend booking the first night’s B&B, the joy of this voucher scheme is that travellers are free to go where they choose and change their itinerary as the fancy takes them.

Ferry travel pleasures include 30 minute check-in times, no baggage charges and civilised journeys – just three hours and 15 minutes on Ulysses – during which travellers can relax, watch a film, enjoy a meal or admire the view.
