Cheaper insurance on secure Superb

27th August 2008 Print
Skoda Superb The new Skoda Superb has secured impressive insurance ratings, placing the model among the most competitively rated cars in the upper medium sector.

The entry diesel 1.9 TDI PD 105bhp engine on the S trim Superb has been granted insurance rating 6E, an improvement of three positions over the outgoing Superb, which can translate into a considerable saving on car insurance.

The entry petrol 1.4 TSI 125bhp engine has also achieved a lower rating than its petrol entry level predecessor and sits in insurance band 7E across all three trim levels.

Chris Horrell, Product Marketing Manager at Skoda UK, comments: “The new Superb has achieved much improved ratings thanks to enhanced vehicle security, competitive pricing and low cost of parts and repairs. All of these factors contribute to lower insurance premiums for our customers.”

Skoda’s latest arrival has fared exceptionally well against other car brands, offering the buying public another reason to turn to Skoda for better value for money. The car will be on sale in the UK from 18 September, with prices starting from just £15,490.
