Taylor Wimpey launches FirstBuy in Haywards Heath
Selected homes at Taylor Wimpey’s Vibe development of property for sale in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, are available with the Government’s new FirstBuy scheme for first-time buyers.

The Government’s brand new FirstBuy scheme supports first-time buyers in search of new homes in Haywards Heath but who may otherwise be unable to purchase a place of their own, because of the large deposits now required by mortgage lenders.

FirstBuy works through a joint loan of 20% from the HCA and Taylor Wimpey, which means that eligible purchasers only need put down a 5% deposit and obtain a 75% loan-to-value mortgage. The loan is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term or when the property is sold. To be eligible, purchasers must be first-time buyers and their total household earnings should be less than £60,000.
So the qualifying first-time buyer choosing the stylish one-bedroom Plot 1 apartment at Vibe, priced at just £149,995, for example, would need a 5% deposit of just £7,500, and a 75% mortgage of only £112,497.
And with only 80% of the property’s value to finance, the lucky purchaser can enjoy access to a wider choice of mortgage products and more competitive interest rates.
The one-bedroom Plot 1 apartment at Vibe features a contemporary open-plan living/dining room with fitted kitchen, plus a well-proportioned bedroom, a main bathroom and a handy storage closet located off the internal entrance hallway, while allocated parking is located outside.
Alternatively, two-bedroom apartments with en-suite master bedrooms are priced from only £169,995.
All properties at the development are finished to a high-level specification including central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.
