People looking for a new home in Stoke-on-Trent should head along to Water’s Edge, where the final properties are now available.

Located close to Hanley town centre, the Redrow venture enjoys a canalside setting that’s helped make the homes a popular choice with a whole host of buyers including families, first time buyers and downsizers.

The remaining properties include a choice of two-bedroom apartments and a four-bedroom family home.

Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), commented: “Our commitment to building quality homes and delivering high levels of customer service has helped make Water’s Edge a success. We’re proud to have played our part in regenerating the area, while boosting the local housing stock. Water’s Edge is now a well-established residential setting with homes that enjoy the potential for views over the Staffordshire countryside while also benefiting from easy access to the town centre amenities.”

Prices at Water’s Edge start from as little as £105,000 for a two-bedroom apartment that’s ready to move into.

“According to the Halifax* consumer confidence survey, most people expect rental values to rise in the next 12 months. It suggests that now could be the time to stop renting and buy a home of your own,” Elaine added.

“And while apartment living is often seen as the domain of those starting out in life, it’s a lifestyle that’s also well suited to other groups of buyers including those who are starting over after a change of circumstances, such as divorce, or downsizers who are fed up of the rising cost of running and maintaining an older property.”

The final four-bedroom house is on the market at £159,995. It’s a family sized townhouse with an integral garage and en-suite to master bedroom. Customers with a property to sell may find they are able to use their old home to part-fund a move to Water’s Edge.

Elaine explained: “Moving up the property ladder is quick and easy with part-exchange and means that those with a home of their own to sell may still be in with a chance of calling Water’s Edge ‘home’. Subject to terms and conditions we’ll buy their existing property so they can buy this brand new home. But with only the one family-sized property remaining potential purchasers should contact us without delay to avoid disappointment.”

The marketing suite at Water’s Edge in Ivy House Road, is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
