Chevrolet to celebrate 100 years at Ace Cafe

The iconic Chevrolet brand turns 100 this year, and to celebrate in style Chevrolet UK is backing an evening of celebration at the world-famous Ace Cafe, on London’s North Circular Road.

The cafe, at Ace Corner, Stonebridge, North-West London, is notorious for its role as a meeting place for car fans and motorcyclists throughout the world, and once a month holds an all-American ‘Cruise-in’, where owners of cars from the USA are invited along to the Ace’s famous car park.

For the late summer Cruise-in, which takes place on the evening of Saturday 27th August, Chevrolet will be marking its centenary with a top secret live music act, along with the unveiling of a very special one-off car and a display of Chevrolets old and new outside the cafe.

Chevrolet UK managing director, Mark Terry, said: “The Chevrolet night at the Ace promises to be tremendous fun. Not only is it the perfect forum in which to celebrate our 100 years, surrounded by American cars of all eras, but it’s also a great venue that has become synonymous with enthusiasm for all things automotive. I can’t reveal yet what the mystery car or band will be, but I will tell you that both are icons of American culture, and are a great way of marking our first century.”

Guests for the Cruise-in will arrive at the Ace from late afternoon, with a special focus area for owners of the iconic Chevrolet Corvette – arguably America’s most famous sports car.

The Chevrolet live act will commence at 9.00pm, with a DJ before and after the main event.
