Of the total of 4,521 orders, 1,991 have already been delivered, with a remaining 2,530 customers waiting to take delivery. Of the cars handed in for scrapping, nearly nine out of 10 have been conquest sales and have ranged from a Trabant to a Porsche.

Trading in a scrappage-eligible car for a new Skoda is a good choice for both the customer and the environment. It means that customers drive away in a safe, modern car that offers great value, great fuel economy and low CO2 emissions as well as Skoda’s fine attention to the comfort and convenience of driver and passengers.
Modern features that provide comfort and convenience for Skoda customers that were unheard of in the 10-year old cars being traded in include: central locking; electric front windows; height-adjustable driver’s seat; height- and reach adjustable steering wheel; radio with CD and MP3 connection; drinks holders; shopping bag hooks; and a split, folding rear seat. All Skoda models are designed with outstanding loading capacity for luggage, shopping and holiday goodies.
Good fuel economy means low CO2 emissions and Skodas offer outstanding economy across the range, starting with the Fabia Greenline at just 109 g/km and 68.9 mpg on the combined cycle.
Add in great prices, competitive finance deals and Skoda’s scrappage allowances of at least £2,500 – rising to £3,500 for Octavia 1.9 TDI , 2.0 TDI and 2.0 CR - and customers will, indeed, become part of Skoda’s family of happy drivers.
