New homes coming to Diss

The delivery of a multi million pound million housing scheme to bring 120 homes to the town of Diss has moved a step closer as Persimmon Homes Anglia has announced the launch of its Hazelmead development.
The 8.5 acre development off Frenze Hall Lane will ultimately feature a mix of two, three and four bedroom traditional semi detached and detached homes, which includes an element of affordable housing to enable local people to continue to remain close to their roots.
Jon Gibbs, sales director for Persimmon Homes Anglia, couldn’t be more pleased to be ploughing further investment into Diss. He comments: “Hazelmead follows on from previous success we received in Diss with our very popular Queens Court and Ashbrook Meadow developments and through extensive research we found there is an ongoing demand for new homes in the area.”
Prices for the first release of properties start from just £122,950 for the two bedroom Carrington design and from £173,950 for a three bedroom housetype.
Jon concludes: “We are currently in the process of building our showhome, so I’d recommend househunters looking for a beautiful brand new property at pre-showhome prices to register their interest in our collection of housetypes at our Hazelmead development now.”
Diss town centre hosts a wide selection of shops and conveniences, as well as a doctors’ surgery, nurseries and good local schooling.
Diss benefits from having good local infrastructure which makes it ideal for commuters with the A143 westbound to Bury St. Edmunds and the A14 and eastbound to Lowestoft and other attractive coastal towns.
The city of Norwich and Ipswich town are easily accessible via the A140. Diss railway is just a short walk from the development is on the main Norwich to London line with the commute just taking little over one and a half hours.
