Shared ownership coming soon to Shipston on Stour
House-hunters in Warwickshire will soon have the opportunity to purchase a beautiful, affordable new home at the Church View development in Shipston on Stour.
Built by Orbit Homes, Church View features a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes all available under the government–funded HomeBuy Shared ownership scheme. The scheme, which provides an affordable route into home ownership, allows you to buy a share in a new home and pay a subsidised rent on the part that you don’t own. If you’re looking to fly the nest or make the leap from renting to owning but feel you’ve been priced out of the market then a home at Church View could be the ideal solution for you.
Orbit Homes will be holding a launch event on Saturday 20th August to allow interested buyers to take a first look around the homes on offer. Visitors at the open day will be able to see the brand new three-bedroom ‘Broadway’ show home which provides spacious family accommodation and includes a ground floor washroom, contemporary fitted kitchen, spacious lounge and a family bathroom.
Church View, which is located off Tileman’s Lane, will see the refurbishment of the Grade II Listed Shipston House and the addition of a range of new homes and a public open space.
Priority for the homes will be given to applicants who have a local connection to Shipston on Stour via employment, residence or family. In the first instance, homes will be allocated to those nominated via Stratford District Council’s Homechoice Plus lettings system.
Viewings at the launch event are strictly by appointment only, so to book your place please contact Orbit Homes by emailing homes@orbit.org.uk.
