Find out how you could buy in Ipswich without a big deposit

First time buyers without a large deposit can find out next weekend (Saturday and Sunday, September 10 / 11) how they could still buy at Redrow’s Ipswich development.

With Redrow’s ‘easi:buy’ scheme you can put off paying 15% of the initial asking price of the final five remaining three and four-bedroom homes at Bramford Gardens and don’t have to pay the outstanding balance until you have more funds available or come to resell.

Redrow is hosting an open weekend at Bramford Gardens to give potential purchasers more information about the easi:buy scheme and how it works. As an added incentive, Redrow will include a free washer / dryer and microwave oven for anyone who reserves over the weekend.

Easi:buy means you need only apply for a maximum 85% loan to value mortgage, hopefully giving you access to better rates and reducing the size of any deposit required by lenders.

Lesley Stringer, sales director for Redrow Homes (Eastern), explains: “At Redrow we understand how easy it is to get caught in the rental trap, spending money on rent when you really want own a home of your own. With this in mind, we’re delighted to offer our ‘easi:buy’ scheme on selected houses.

“It’s the ideal way for first time buyers and others who may be struggling to find a mortgage to step on to the property ladder as they should require a much smaller deposit and still have access to some of the more favourable interest rates normally reserved for those with large deposits or substantial equity in an existing home.”

Our ‘easi:buy’ incentive gives you up to 10 years to repay the 15% deferred portion – but you’ll own 100% of your home from day one. It means three-bedroom townhouses are currently available for an initial outlay from just £144,478 (full price £169,950)

“And unlike renting, where you don’t have an asset to show for your hard earned cash at the end of the day, if you purchase a home at Bramford Gardens and property prices increase, you could potentially find that the value of your investment has increased in years to come,” Lesley added.

As well as featuring Redrow’s superior specification, new homes also have many advantages over the second-hand sector, including easy maintenance, in-built energy efficiency and no requirements for costly maintenance.

Good road and rail links from Ipswich make Bramford Gardens a great base for commuters to places like Cambridge, Norwich and even London, which is just 75 minutes by train.
