People in Hinckley are discovering that stepping on or up the property ladder is easier than they expected thanks to Crest Nicholson.

The award-winning developer is offering a range of incentives including its EasyBuy deferred payment scheme and part-exchange at its Canal Reach development in the town.

Amanda Benjamin, sales manager for Crest, explained: “The help we are offering customers at Canal Reach has played a part in its continued success as around half of purchasers have used one of the incentives to buy their new home. EasyBuy has boosted the buying power of those starting out in life; while part-exchange has helped those with a home of their own to sell climb the ladder. ”

Current availability at Canal Reach includes three-bedroom homes in a choice of styles with prices from £164,050 for a Huntingdon style property.

With EasyBuy customers can defer paying up to 15% of the price of selected homes for up to 10 years. They will still own 100% of the property and will pay no interest on the remaining share for five years and only a nominal amount after that.

It means that the initial price of a three-bedroom Kennet style property is reduced from £189,950 to £158,058.

“First time buyers struggling to save for a deposit for a home of their own could find that they don’t need as much cash up front as they first thought thanks to EasyBuy. It could mean they are able to escape the rental trap sooner than they thought; while other buyers may find it helps stretch their budget and get that extra room they dream of,” Amanda added.

“Alternatively, those with a home of their own to sell may be able to use part-exchange to move up the property ladder. It’s quick, simple and takes the hassle out of moving as we effectively act as a cash buyer for the customer’s old home so that they can buy one of ours. We’ll guide them through the buying process and they can stay in their old home until their new one is ready.”

Open plan layouts put combined kitchen and dining rooms at the hub of the homes. Fitted with beautiful Manhattan cupboards and drawers, the kitchens enjoy plenty of storage and work space, plus Bosch stainless steel hob, double oven and chimney hood.

Family bathrooms are fitted with stylish white modern suites with a sleek finish that provides the perfect setting for a relaxing soak.

Canal Reach enjoys a location that enables its residents to choose their pace of life. They can opt to take a stroll along the nearby towpath next to the canal while enjoying views over open countryside or to head into Hinckley to benefit from the local amenities in the town centre. And with a good choice of schools in the area, it’s a great place to raise a family.
