Selected properties at Taylor Wimpey’s The Boulevard development of new homes for sale in Coventry are available with the Government-backed FirstBuy initiative.

Fast-moving first-time buyers can get help to step on the property ladder with the Government’s new FirstBuy scheme at The Boulevard, Taylor Wimpey’s popular development of new build homes in Coventry.

This fantastic initiative lets qualifying purchasers secure their new home for as little as 80% of the full purchase price – including a 75% mortgage and a 5% deposit, subject to status – and it’s available now with selected apartments and houses for sale in Coventry at The Boulevard.

The spacious three-bedroom Plot 37 ‘Broadway’ detached property for sale in Coventry, for example, can be accessed by qualifying first-time buyers for 80% of its £164,995 purchase price under the FirstBuy scheme.

Alternatively, selected one and two-bedroom apartments for sale in Coventry, priced from just £76,500, are also on offer with FirstBuy.

Jan Titley, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re delighted to announce that the Government’s new FirstBuy scheme is now available with selected houses and flats for sale in Coventry at The Boulevard, offering local first-time buyers a unique opportunity to leave renting behind and step on to the property ladder in style.

“We have already experienced considerable interest in this fantastic initiative and availability is strictly limited, so I would stress to anyone interested in taking advantage of FirstBuy in Coventry that they must be quick to avoid missing out.”

FirstBuy works through a joint loan of 20% from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Taylor Wimpey, which means that eligible purchasers only need put down a 5% deposit and obtain a 75% loan-to-value mortgage.

The loan is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term or when the property is sold. To be eligible, purchasers must be first-time buyers and their total household earnings should be less than £60,000.

The Plot 37 ‘Broadway’ boasts a fabulous kitchen/dining room and a spacious dual-aspect lounge, each opening through French doors to the private rear garden. There’s a handy guest cloakroom downstairs, too.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to the en-suite master bedroom, two further bedrooms and a family bathroom, while outside, there’s a garage and driveway parking.

The Boulevard is the exciting second phase of Taylor Wimpey’s regeneration of the former Peugeot plant in Humber Road, Stoke, part of the £200 million, 1,400-home Dominion Plaza scheme in the emerging New Stoke Village.

The development comprises 142 stunning one and two-bedroom apartments plus two, three and four-bedroom houses, and has been carefully designed to foster a sense of community, with discreet parking, attractive crescents and tree-lined avenues creating a pleasant environment for all.

Homes at The Boulevard benefit from a range of everyday amenities on the doorstep, and Coventry city centre is within easy reach for a host of shopping, leisure, sports and entertainment opportunities.

The development also benefits from excellent transport links, with Junction 2 of the M6 less than five miles away and Coventry railway station, which operates regular services to London Euston in around an hour and to Birmingham in under 30 minutes, only two miles from home.

To find out more about taking advantage of FirstBuy at The Boulevard, home-hunters can visit the Sales and Marketing Suite, located off Humber Road, Stoke, Coventry, and open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
