Homebuyers Jenny Adams and Abbas Ebrahimi were handed the keys to their new house at Taylor Wimpey’s The Pinnacle development of new homes in Stoke-on-Trent on the same day as giving birth to their first child.

Most people would find the prospect of moving into a new home straight after giving birth too daunting to even consider – but for Stoke-on-Trent property-seekers Jenny Adams and her partner Abbas Ebrahimi, it was the only option.

Fortunately, moving into their brand new three-bedroom home at Taylor Wimpey’s The Pinnacle development of new build homes in Stoke-on-Trent, proved a walk in the park for the young family, thanks to the leading housebuilder’s efforts to ensure their experience was as straightforward as possible.

“We actually got the keys on the day I was discharged from hospital after giving birth to my son,” says Jenny (23), reflecting on her new family’s move to the development of new houses for sale in Stoke-on-Trent.

“Taylor Wimpey were great; really helpful. They extended our initial reservation period on the house and once we had signed for the property they managed to complete the build early so that we could move in soon after our old place was sold.”

With newborn baby boy Nolan’s arrival, Jenny and 24-year-old Abbas were happy to be able to make a stress-free move to the spacious family-size home of their dreams at the development of new homes in Stoke-on-Trent.

“We were living in a one-bedroom apartment before and it just wasn’t big enough,” recalls Jenny. “Now we’ve got a three-bedroom semi-detached, with three bathrooms, a lovely living room, a fitted kitchen and a garden out the back.

“It’s close to family, which is especially important now we have Nolan, and the area has much better schools than where we lived before.”

With all the added expense of having a new born baby in the house, the couple were delighted to qualify for one of Taylor Wimpey’s first-time buyer incentives which reduced the cost of their mortgage and the need for a big deposit – freeing up more cash to spend on all the things the family’s new addition will need.

Just one week after getting the keys – and giving birth to their baby boy – Jenny and Abbas were enjoying the comforts of their new home.

“We wanted to keep money back for furniture and with the baby coming we needed some to spend on Nolan,” says Jenny. “It has made the house a lot more affordable for us. Also, I’ve only just qualified as a nurse and the money we have saved with Taylor Wimpey will be a big help while I’m on maternity leave.”

Property-seekers keen to follow in their footsteps can take their pick from an excellent selection of high-quality homes at The Pinnacle, including three-bedroom houses from just £101,246 under the new Government-backed FirstBuy scheme.

This fantastic initiative is available to first-time buyers with total household earnings under £60,000, and with FirstBuy qualifying purchasers require only a 5% deposit and a 75% loan-to-value mortgage.

Taylor Wimpey and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) will then provide a 20% loan which is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term, or when the property is sold.

For example, the three-bedroom ‘Wessex’ home, priced from £134,995, is available to qualifying first-time buyers with a mortgage of just £101,246 and a deposit of only £6,750.

Commanding an excellent location within easy reach of the Peak District, The Pinnacle boasts stunning views and is ideal for anyone who loves the great outdoors.

Closer still, a choice of shops selling everyday items are within walking distance of the development, while the area boasts seven primary schools within one mile of the homes, as well as two secondary schools. The highly regarded Keele University is under 10 miles away, while Alton Towers, Festival Park and Trentham Gardens are nearby, offering opportunity for family days out.

Commuters will appreciate that the development is a 10-minute drive from the M6, and that Greater Manchester, the Midlands and North Wales are all within easy reach.
