Miller Homes unveils new Lakeside Country Park showhome

Award-winning housebuilder Miller Homes East Midlands is preparing to open the doors to a new five-bedroomed showhome at its popular Lakeside Country Park development in Leicestershire.
The Swithland style property at the Hamilton-based site will be officially unveiled on Saturday 8 October and potential homebuyers are being invited along to be amongst the first to take a look inside.
The detached family property has five double bedrooms, a spacious family room and bright lounge. The centrepiece of the house is a magnificent staircase that leads to a landing with a French window. Other key features include twin bay windows, additional second-floor shower room and a separate garage.
Commenting on the showhome opening, Ann Crick, sales director for Miller Homes in the East Midlands, said:
“This will be a great addition to a much sought after development and is reflective of the type of properties that are still available.
“Lakeside Country Park has proved to be one of our most popular sites in the county. Its proximity to the city centre, contemporary setting, great transport links and surrounding amenities, make it a hugely desirable location.
“I hope that people take the opportunity to come and visit the new showhome and to chat to our advisors in their new sales centre about the range of incentives that we have on offer to make moving even more affordable.”
Amongst the remaining properties at Lakeside Country Park is the four-bedroomed, detached Stevenson style property. Priced at £239,950, it boasts an exceptionally large kitchen and breakfast area, lounge with feature bay window and dual-aspect windows in two of the bedrooms.
In addition, there are a limited number of new homes still available via the HomeBuy Direct scheme, including the three-bedroomed Auden style townhouse, with prices ranging from £194,950.
HomeBuy Direct is a Government initiative designed to help first-time buyers, renters and those living at home to move into affordable home ownership. Buyers are offered an equity loan of up to 30 per cent of the purchase price, co-funded by Government and Miller Homes. Any household earning £60,000 or less who cannot afford to buy a suitable property on the open market is eligible for the scheme.
