Art in the Showhome at Papplewick Green
Residents throughout Nottinghamshire are being invited to ‘Art in the Showhome’, an exhibition of work from local artist, Paula Fardell, which is being held within the showhome of a new housing development in Hucknall.
Between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday the 6th October, David Wilson East Midlands is hosting the special event at its Papplewick Green development on Papplewick Lane where art fans can peruse Paula’s latest pieces whilst finding out more about the superb range of homes on offer from the homebuilder.
Visitors to the exhibition can enjoy drinks and canapés whilst taking in the splendour of Paula’s intricate work and fans will also be given the chance to enter a free prize draw to win a piece of Paula’s art.
Philip Lacey, Sales Director at David Wilson, comments “As a local artist based here in Hucknall, we are delighted to be able to show our support for Paula by hosting an exhibition of her most recent work within the showhome of our Papplewick Green development in Hucknall.
“This is a great opportunity for both art lovers and homebuyers to come together to appreciate the talent of a well respected local artist but they will have the added benefit of looking around our designer showhome too.
“The artwork will be hung in situ within the showhome so art fans can see what the pieces actually look like when they are hanging from the wall and if any of Paula’s pieces would be suitable for their new home.”
Paula Fardell, comments “I will be exhibiting seven pieces within the showhome at Papplewick Green in a mix of ink, oils and watercolours. They are all very different pieces so hopefully there will be something to appeal to everyone.
“I’m really looking forward to the exhibition and having the opportunity to showcase my work to local residents and I would like to thank the team at David Wilson for their support and assistance in arranging this event.”
The Art in the Showhome Exhibition is being held from 6pm – 8pm on Thursday the 6th October.
For those who cannot make the event, the exhibition will be open to members of the public until Sunday the 9th October.
