Macclesfield residents are set to enjoy a host of new facilities in and around the town centre - thanks to a major investment from Taylor Wimpey.

The national housebuilder is about to start work on a range of valuable projects to benefit local families, including a sports centre, affordable housing and £100,000 of road improvements.

Building will begin on an impressive state-of-the-art Sports and Community Pavillion early next year.
