Determined step onto the property ladder but concerned that you don’t have enough funds to do so? Heard the word FirstBuy but don’t completely understand what the new home moving scheme is all about?

If so, you need to pay a visit to Persimmon Homes’ Deben Heath development in Rendlesham, near Woodbridge, where the Government-led 80 per cent FirstBuy scheme is now on offer on some if the company’s most sought-after family properties.

Jon Gibbs, sales director for Persimmon Homes Anglia, is confident the initiative will help local househunters, especially families looking to purchase a spacious property. He said: “As a Group Persimmon Homes has been given the largest allocation of properties through FirstBuy by the Government and we are delighted to be one of the developers in the area to offer the scheme.”

FirstBuy is offered through equity loan funding of up to 20 per cent of the purchase price split equally between the Homes and Communities Agency and Persimmon, with purchasers being required to raise funding (a mortgage plus deposit) of at least 80 per cent of the purchase price.

The stunning and inviting four bedroom detached Hawker housetype is one such property which is available through FirstBuy and is ready and waiting to welcome its first owners. Priced at just £180,760, the design incorporates a sociable kitchen and dining area, a study which could easily be transformed into a formal dining room, a spacious living room, four good sized bedrooms, two en suites and a family bathroom.

Jon concludes: “Due to a limited supply of properties through the FirstBuy initiative at Deben Heath, I’d recommend househunters speak to our sales adviser sooner rather than later to find out how we can help find the home of your dreams.”

Deben Heath includes an area of central open space featuring mature trees and a number of the homes are found off private driveways and back onto beautiful forested areas, creating an exclusive environment to live within.

The village of Rendlesham offers a host of amenities, schools and healthcare services, while Ipswich, the county town of Suffolk, is easily accessible via the A12 and offers a whole host of shopping opportunities in idyllic and historic surroundings. There is also a range leisure facilities, including theatres, pubs and restaurants.
