The Co-operative Bank gives switchers £200
The Co-operative Bank has launched a new limited offer, giving customers who switch their main current account to the Bank £200.
Available from October 17, the offer is open to any new or existing current account customer with The Co-operative Bank, who requests a full switch from another provider.
Unlike other bank offers, customers do not need to hold additional products such as mortgages and savings with the Bank in order to receive the full £200. Once customers have completed their switch, they are required to credit a minimum of £800 into their account for the first three months in order to be eligible for the £200.
Rod Bulmer, Managing Director, Retail at The Co-operative Bank, said: "Customers may be disillusioned with their current provider and we want to have the opportunity to prove that there are genuine alternatives to the big five banks. We are proud to be the nation's top high street bank for customer service and have just introduced another 245 places to bank to the high street."
Robin Taylor, Head of Banking at The Co-operative Bank, said: "With 2,000 new current account customers joining us each week, we have a dedicated switching team who are here to make the process as easy as possible. We know that many people worry about moving banks, so for customers wanting the extra reassurance of regular updates throughout their switch we'll send them texts every step of the way."
Customers can apply for the offer in any branch of The Co-operative Bank or Britannia, over the phone, online and through participating partners . A full set of terms and conditions is available by visiting co-operativebank.co.uk/get200.
