They say that when your children fly the nest it can be one of the hardest things in life to deal with.

But Bradford homebuyers Michael and Barbara Taylor need not have worried – as daughter Jenny followed them to new housing development Crest Park and is moving in just down the road!

The Taylors moved from Heaton further out of town to Taylor Wimpey’s Bingley Road development. Michael Taylor comments: “We’d been looking to downsize our home to an apartment and we wanted something modern and easy to manage – so a new build property was perfect.”

The couple also used the housebuilder’s Easymover scheme to avoid selling their home on the open market, saving much time and stress.

The free scheme finds a buyer for your current home through Taylor Wimpey’s pre-selected estate agents – usually within four weeks. Taylor Wimpey will take care of estate agents’ fees and stamp duty fees’, leaving the buyer free to enjoy moving into their new home.

Michael adds: “We were in a limbo position before Easymover came along – unable to move forward without the sale of our current home. Easymover was great and really helped make the move more enjoyable.”

Anne Bagshaw, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, comments: “Easymover is a really helpful scheme and I’m glad to see what it has helped Michael and Barbara. I wish them many happy years in their new home.”

Homebuyers will certainly have plenty to choose from at Crest Park, with two bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom townhouses, with prices from £93,496 with the housebuilder’s Easystart shared equity scheme.

Three show homes are available to view at Crest Park – the four bedroom Balmoral, the four bedroom Theakston townhouse and the four bedroom Ellerby townhouse.

Located between Shipley and Bradford, Crest Park is an ideal base for families looking to settle in an area that can offer good schools and great amenities.

Offering great access to the M62, World Heritage site, Saltaire Village, is on the doorstep and Haworth is just a short drive away.
