First time buyers get Kickstart in Yeovil

20th October 2011 Print

The perfect new home is now well within reach for the region’s first time buyers when they visit Barratt’s popular Wyndham Park development in Yeovil.

The development offers an impressive selection of one, two, three and four bedroom houses – making it the perfect choice for anyone looking to enter the property market.

And additional funds have just been released to help first time buyers secure their first home thanks to Kickstart with a deposit of just £6,997.

Kickstart is part of a government-backed scheme and, as its name suggests, it is designed to boost the local housing market.

It gives buyers the opportunity to move into a home at Wyndham Park for only 70 per cent of the price, with the remaining 30 per cent covered by a loan from Barratt and the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency.
A smaller mortgage is required – making monthly repayments more affordable.

“Wyndham Park has an excellent selection of homes for first time buyers to choose from. And now there is an extra reason for potential first time buyers to visit us here,” said Barratt sales manager, Emma Smith. “All of these homes are now well within reach thanks to Kickstart.’’

Current availability at Wyndham Park includes one, two and three bedroom homes priced from £139,950 for the one bedroom coach house.

“This is a fantastic chance for buyers to realise the dream of owning a home,” said Emma. “Each of the designs available now offers the perfect base from which to achieve an enviable lifestyle within this highly sought-after development. And Kickstart can make this possible – even for those who may previously have thought moving into their own home was impossible.”

Wyndham Park offers the tranquillity of a semi-rural location – with the convenience of the town close by.

Situated on the eastern outskirts of Yeovil, next to open South Somerset countryside, Wyndham Park is conveniently located within easy access to theA303 and the main Waterloo railway line to London. Yeovil itself has a thriving retail centre and is well served by shopping and sporting facilities.
