Miller Homes launches new development with rural event
Miller Homes East Midlands is preparing to launch its latest Leicestershire development with a rural extravaganza.
The two new showhomes at the Stretton Glen development in Great Glen will open their doors on Sunday 30 October. To mark the occasion, the Miller Homes team will be celebrating the best of countryside living with a family fun day from midday until 4pm.
As well as being the first to take a look inside the brand new showhomes, visitors will also be able to enjoy a host of family entertainment, including a professional face painter and flying displays from a local falconry expert and his birds of prey.
Stretton Glen’s new showhomes have been expertly designed to showcase the space and quality associated with Miller Homes.
The four-bedroom, detached Coniston style property includes a gallery landing, double doors between the dining room and lounge, and French doors opening out onto the garden, making it perfect for entertaining.
The second showhome is the four-bedroom, detached Derwent, complete with feature staircase, separate family room and two en-suite shower rooms.
Commenting on the launch of Stretton Glen, Ann Crick, sales director for Miller Homes in the East Midlands, said:
“Our launch event is all about celebrating Stretton Glen’s rural location. The development manages to combine the peace and appeal of village life with easy access to major transport routes and Leicester city centre.
“As well as the birds of prey and face painting, we’ll also be throwing in a few surprise treats given that it’s almost Halloween.
“I hope that people take the chance to come and explore the development and talk to our sales advisors about the type of properties that we have at Stretton Glen and the incentives that we have on offer to provide confidence and security, and to make moving even more affordable.”
Amongst the other properties available at Stretton Glen is the three-bedroom Auden style townhouse. With prices starting from £234,950, this spacious home includes a separate study and en-suite master bedroom with dressing area.
A number of incentives are also available at the development, including FirstBuy, a scheme designed to help first time buyers into affordable home ownership. Those qualifying for the scheme will be able to purchase 100 per cent of their home by paying up to 80 per cent of the value now, with both Miller Homes and the Government equally funding the remaining 20 per cent in the form of an equity loan.
