Personal Homefinders on the expansion trail
One of the south’s leading property companies Personal Homefinders, has been on the expansion trail with the acquisition of The Winchester Letting Company and the launch of a new corporate identity and website.
Paul Cole, who heads up Personal Homefinders with his wife Hilary, said the acquisition boosts the number of offices now offering a comprehensive lettings, property management and financial advice service for landlords and means a wider range of properties for tenants.
“We’re delighted with this expansion which comes at a time of increasing business in the lettings market and in the Hampshire area in particular,’’ said Paul. “The expansion provides a great opportunity for us so we have also launched a fresh identity and website.’’
The newly expanded operation has offices in Winchester, Eastleigh and Chandler’s Ford with all staff from Winchester Lettings now working for Personal Homefinders and new staff being recruited to capitalise on the current and future market conditions.
Personal Homefinders was set up 24 years ago with Paul and Hilary taking over the business eight years ago. At the time they bought Personal Homefinders they also considered Winchester Lettings, impressed with the philosophy of both companies.
“At the time we bought Personal Homefinders but always kept in touch with Winchester Lettings and we were delighted the company came back onto the market and our long term interest in the business makes this latest acquisition particularly exciting for us,’’ said Paul.
The move comes at a time of growth within the lettings market with investors adding to their portfolios and rental properties in the region in rising demand.
“We are confident of increased growth within the lettings market which makes the timing perfect for this expansion,’’ said Paul. “Landlords want to maximise returns on their which is something in which we specialise and tenants are looking for good quality homes.’’
