Taylor Wimpey is offering first-time buyers an easy route into home ownership at its Bluebell Croft development of property for sale in Stoke-on-Trent.

Aspiring first-time buyers who are struggling to get a foot onto the property ladder can get a helping hand with the Government-backed FirstBuy scheme at Bluebell Croft, Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after development of property for sale in Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent.

This fantastic initiative, in association with the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), lets qualifying purchasers secure their new home with a mortgage of just 75% of the full purchase price – plus a deposit as low as 5%, subject to status – and is available now with selected new build homes in Stoke-on-Trent at Bluebell Croft.

The spacious three-bedroom ‘Barwell’ property for sale in Kidgsrove, for example, can be accessed by qualifying purchasers for 80% of its £149,995 purchase price under the FirstBuy scheme – that’s just £119,996 – including a £112,496 mortgage and a deposit of only £7,500.

Taylor Wimpey and the HCA will boost the purchaser’s down-payment with a joint loan of 20%, which is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term, or when the property is sold. To be eligible for FirstBuy, customers in search of houses for sale in Stoke-on-Trent must be first-time buyers with a household income below £60,000.

Carl Cooke, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “FirstBuy offers first-time buyers a unique opportunity to leave renting behind and step on to the property ladder in style.

“But, with only a limited number of properties available to buy through this highly popular initiative at Bluebell Croft, I would stress to anyone interested in taking advantage of the offer that they must be quick to avoid missing out.”

The ‘Barwell’ at Bluebell Croft offers an exceptionally well-planned layout, featuring a light and airy lounge/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, a contemporary fitted kitchen and a handy guest cloakroom located on the ground floor.

Upstairs, the landing leads to three well-proportioned bedrooms and a main bathroom, while two allocated parking spaces can be found outside.

In common with all new homes at Bluebell Croft, the ‘Barwell’ enjoys a high standard specification, including gas central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

The new homes at Bluebell Croft are located in an established residential area, with a beautiful tree-lined public open space forming the heart of the development and mature trees and hedgerows complemented by new planting and landscaping.

The development enjoys a convenient location close to a range of amenities for day-to-day living, including shops, pubs, places to eat, a supermarket, a library, a health centre, a post office, a bank and schools for children of all ages.

Kidsgrove stands on the Trent and Mersey and Macclesfield Canals, both of which are navigable by boat, and offer scenic towpath walks, while the Sustrans National Cycle Network also passes through the area.

The town is home to an artificial ski slope, and keen golfers will be pleased to hear that the highly-regarded Alsager Golf and Country Club is located close to Bluebell Croft.

Nearby Stoke-on-Trent has a rich history that grew from the pottery industry, and today is a vibrant city offering great shopping and leisure opportunities. For days out a little further afield, Kidsgrove is within easy reach of both the Peak District and picturesque North Wales.

Bluebell Croft has excellent commuter links, being close to the A34, for convenient access to Newcastle-under-Lyme, plus the A50 for Stoke, while junction 16 of the M6 is just seven miles from home.

Kidsgrove railway station is only a mile from the new homes, and offers regular services to Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Crewe, Manchester and London Euston.
