Spa extension at top North Somerset hotel

A top North Somerset spa has expanded after demand became so high the venue was no longer big enough.

thespa at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House has extended to create several new rooms meaning more treatments as well as job opportunities.

It now features a pre- and post- treatment relaxation room, a couple’s suite for dual treatments and an additional treatment room.

There is also a new reception area to greet customers and additional manicure stations will mean more people can enjoy the facilities.

The extra space has also opened up opportunities for the venue to add further treatments and products to its already extensive repertoire. A PHD Safewax Waxing System has been installed, meaning spa-goers will have the benefit of using the safest, most hygienic waxing system.

Spa Manager Michelle Kidner said: “The new spa is superb; we have added lots of new treatments and products and the spa now feels much more spacious and even more relaxing.

“By continually investing in the spa we have gained the reputation as being one of the best in the region. The fact that people travel far and wide to visit us is a real testament to the service we provide, and we now have a venue which we can be even more proud of.

“We are constantly thinking of ways to improve what we do for our regular customers, those who come in for a one-off treat and visitors staying at the hotel. We pride ourselves on being extremely welcoming so come along and check out the new space!”

As well as adding the new waxing treatment, thespa has also introduced a new make-up range and the Pevonia Lumafirm treatment which luminates and firms your skin.

The spas opening hours have also been extended so more people can enjoy the facilities at the spa and full-time workers can take advantage of a treat after work or on the weekend.
