Bovis Homes has teamed up with Cheshire East Council to give some of the county’s homebuyers a welcome boost onto the housing ladder.

For many people, a move into their own house is currently frustratingly out of reach. But for three lucky applicants those frustrations will be over thanks to a trio of new homes coming onto the market at Bovis Homes’ popular Brook Valley development in Congleton, which will be covered by the Local Home Ownership Scheme.

That means these attractive two-bedroom cottages can be picked up for 70% of the open market value – making them absolute bargains at £103,250.

“The scheme makes homes available to local people who are currently in housing need, which means living in unsuitable conditions and unable to afford housing at open market prices,” said Bovis Homes Regional Sales Director Alison Tindle. “We’re delighted to partner the council in this scheme and provide these lovely new homes.

“They are designed for modern, open-plan living and have our usual all-inclusive features – such as a fully-fitted kitchens with appliances and fitted wardrobes which means the buyer won’t have all those budget-draining extra costs when they move in.”
