Berkeley’s Woodberry Park, one of the most significant regeneration schemes to be launched in the capital in the past decade, has the best of both worlds on its doorstep for shopping this Christmas, with the unique shops in Stoke Newington and the glitz and glamour of the West End.

Nearby Stoke Newington is packed with a wide variety of vintage clothes shops, cafes and restaurants, while the West End has an unrivalled choice of High Street shops and luxury stores.

Woodberry Park is the new community rising from the site of the Woodberry Down estate as part of the £1 billion regeneration project being delivered by Berkeley Homes in partnership with Hackney Council, the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), Genesis Housing Group and the local community.

Stoke Newington Church Street, located only minutes from Woodberry Park, offers an eclectic choice for trendy or alternative presents such as Ollie Loves Alfie, a children's store for inspiring and imaginative toys and games, and Of Cabbages and Kings, where sweets and candy sit amongst an array of jewellery, knick knacks and handmade gifts.

If you’re in need of hearty Christmas food for the family, renowned organic butchers The Ginger Pig has recently opened its fifth London shop in Stoke Newington, with animals sourced from their farms on the beautiful North York Moors. For the finest cakes, breads and pastries you can also try Aston's, a true artisan bakery.

Alternatively, if you wish to take in the atmosphere of the West End, Oxford Circus is just 15 minutes away from Woodberry Park via the underground. As one of the liveliest shopping streets in the UK with over 350 shops, you’re bound to find a gift for every occasion at Selfridges, Debenhams, John Lewis or Topshop’s flagship store.

Piers Clanford, Managing Director of Berkeley Homes, comments: “You are spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping this Christmas from Woodberry Park, with a location perfectly positioned to take full advantage of the abundance of fantastic shops in Stoke Newington and the West End. You really have the best of both worlds on your doorstep, with the quirkiness and character of Stoke Newington a short walk away and the sophistication and convenience of The West End just 15 minutes by tube.”

Located in Zone 2, Woodberry Park benefits from superb transport links. From Manor House underground station for the Piccadilly line, just moments away, it is only 10 minutes to Kings Cross, 15 minutes to Oxford Circus, 18 minutes to Stratford International and 19 minutes to the City. There is also easy access via the Tube and rail network to London’s airports and Eurostar services, and the M25 can be reached by car in approximately 25 minutes.

When complete, Woodberry Park, which overlooks 43 acres of stunning reservoir and boasts magnificent views over the City and Canary Wharf including the Olympic zone, will form a sustainable community of over 4,600 new homes with enhanced business and community amenities, adjoining two beautiful reservoirs.

The first phase of Woodberry Park, located close to Finsbury Park and Manor House underground station, comprises of over 300 newly built one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses. All homes at Woodberry Park benefit from Berkeley’s high-quality modern interiors, with three bedroom apartments at the development featuring an upgraded ‘platinum’ specification, with enhanced flooring, fittings and audio points. The development also benefits from a residents-only gym, concierge service and beautifully landscaped public open spaces, including a waterside trail encircling the reservoir.

Located on the banks of the New River and West Reservoir in the London Borough of Hackney, Woodberry Park overlooks 43 acres of tranquil open water close to Finsbury Park, Clissold Park and Abney Park. It is also within easy reach of the cosmopolitan urban villages of Stoke Newington, Green Lanes, Hackney and Islington, and has excellent leisure facilities including Stoke Newington West Reservoir Water Sports Leisure Centre and nature reserve literally on the front doorstep.
